
Providing vital online access and technological support for those in need, McLaren Construction are launching a new initiative to donate repurposed laptops to charities across the UK with the first donation taking place in the Midlands and North.
Kick-starting the initiative, 20 repurposed company laptops were donated to the St Helens-based Martin Murray ThinkFAST academy, providing young people with online support to help with educational development.

IT has been 10 years in the making, but after hanging up his boxing gloves Martin Murray is now ready launch a project that will make a difference to young people with behavioural problems.
The five-time World title contender has drawn deeply on his own troubled youth to set up an academy based at the Wildcard boxing gym in Parr to primarily guide youngsters in danger of going off the rails back on to the right path.
He has already had a preliminary meeting with the Engagement team at Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner’s office.

As a young man, he served four separate prison terms for robbery, street brawls and being caught carrying drugs in Cyprus.

THE latest cohort of young people graduated from Martin Murray's Think Fast Academy yesterday afternoon, but it's here "where the real work starts" the former boxing champion said.
The Academy, set up by Martin and his wife Gemma in 2020, uses boxing as a tool to prevent young people with limited opportunities from getting involved in crime.
